Bore Place Wedding Photographer

Bore Place wedding photographer. If you are planning to get married in the beautiful countryside of Kent then Bore Place  wedding venue in Chiddingstone could be a fantastic choice for outdoor weddings as well as indoor weddings ceremonies. Bore Place is a beautiful spot, surrounded by rolling hills, woods full of wildlife, stunning walks and glorious, organically managed gardens, situated just outside the perfectly preserved Tudor village of Chiddingstone. Getting married at Bore Place will ensure stunning decor and atmosphere for your wedding photography. And I will be there as your wedding photographer capturing moments and emotions, creating memories that will last forever.

Bore Place House is an attractive Jacobean house with a large drawing room that can be set up for ceremonies or drinks receptions. With an open fire and doors opening onto the gardens it is a perfect space for entertaining. There is also a light and airy studio which opens onto the terrace overlooking the walled garden and an ornamental pond that can be used for ceremonies as well. The house features 12 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms (sleeping 25), a further sitting room, a large eat-in kitchen with Aga and dining hall. Surrounded by pretty gardens with terraces and ponds, lawns, and lovely, well-tended borders, it is full of charm and is an ideal focal point for a weekend of celebrations

Bore Place Wedding Photography. Couples getting married at Bore Place have exclusive use of the organic farm and estate for 48 hours – either the whole weekend or for 2 days and 2 nights during the week. This gives you the chance to spend time with friends and family before and after the event, as well as allowing you to set up just as you want. The relaxed and special atmosphere of Bore Place is what sets the wedding venue apart. They actively encourage the couples to use and decorate the space as they wish. Overnight accommodation on-site for 60 with additional capacity for glampers and campers available.

If you’re looking for an eco-venue with sustainability at the top of its agenda, you’ve come to the right place. As well as generating their own sustainable energy through a wind turbine and photovoltaic panels, they also heat their buildings and hot water through woodchips harvested on the Bore Place estate.

The gardens and wider estate at Bore Place are buzzing with wildlife. This is because the whole estate is managed organically and because they actively promote wildlife and support protected species through the way they manage the woodlands, hedgerows, ponds and field edges.

All the food will be organic and locally sourced. In fact, most of the vegetables are grown in their own organically managed market garden.

Bore Place has been a centre of sustainability and green living since the 1970s and profits from your day will be ploughed back into projects with these values at their core.

The Gardens

The organically-managed gardens at Bore Place are a real highlight of the estate. During the summer months, the gardens are alive with pretty flowers and there is a walled garden enclosing a reflecting ornamental pond which creates a stunning backdrop. Some couples choose to hold their wedding breakfast at tables around the pond. There is a swing hanging from a tree and quiet areas to escape to as well as a large terrace ideal for drinks receptions and a giant lawn perfect for party games. Further afield, there is an apple orchard and abundant market garden from which we source much of our fruit and vegetables. You are also very welcome to use the gardens to erect a marquee should you need extra capacity for your guests. Many guests end their day relaxing with friends around our fire pit!

The Barn

A restored 17th-century timber barn offers a flexible space that can seat up to 100 guests for dinner or hold more for a party or drinks reception. With doors opening up onto the Old Stables Courtyard with pretty festoon lighting, many couples choose to hold their reception here. It can also be used for wedding ceremonies and is an ideal venue for traditional or vintage-style events.

Weddings are about celebrating love with the people that are important to us. Family and friends often travel from across the globe to be present on the day and celebrate your happiness. Today, maybe more than ever, as we’re coming out of lockdown, we become more aware of the precious gift of family and friends. My goal as your wedding photographer will be to tell the story of your wedding day in the most beautiful way, to show the connection between you and your loved ones, and help you relive all the emotions and feelings of that amazing day when looking at your photographs.

Wow, what a surreal experience photographing Alice & Jack’s wedding! First of all, I’d like to say that I’m grateful for so many reasons in my life at the moment but going back to photographing weddings, seeing families and friends together again, being able to be close and photograph people hugging, laughing, crying, warms my heart to a level that I would not have imagined it before lockdown. As a great quote says, a picture worths 1000 words so I would rather let the weddings photos speak for themselves. Enjoy!

Alice & Jack, Thank you so much for choosing me to be your wedding photographer and capture your wedding day exactly how I love doing it, in a natural, candid way, focusing on moments and emotions. I cannot emphasize enough how much I loved being part of it all and how excited I am to share your wedding photos! <3

Also massive thank you to photographer my friend Alex Coman for helping out on the wedding day and being brilliant.
