As the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve, I found myself in Berkshire photographing a Lillibrooke Manor wedding, one of the most special weddings I have ever had the privilege to document. From the meaningful wedding ceremony filled with raw emotions in Lillibrooke Manor’s Small Barn to the fun-filled reception in the rustic barn, this wonderful wedding was overflowing with love and happiness.
Wedding Ceremony at Lillibrooke Manor
Witnessing the wedding ceremony was so inspiring; it was simply filled with happiness and emotion from start to finish. Every single member of the couple’s families and friends were moved by the occasion and it was clear that everyone present felt a special bond between them all.
What I found particularly emotional were the readings that both bride and groom had chosen – it opened up an even deeper level of connection between them and those surrounding them, with touches of laughter in some parts, coupled with more solemn moments in others. As I looked around during this momentous day, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight! Being able to capture such love-filled treasures on film is truly humbling experience.

After the wedding, the guests moved to the Engine House for drinks and canapes, and as soon as the rain stopped, we got some great shots of Leanne & Ross outside around Lillibrooke Manor’s wet and beautiful grounds. It was clear that they were madly in love, radiating happiness in each shot. The bride kick off her shoes and together with Ross she joyfully ran around, not worrying about dirt or mud staining her dress. The Wedding Speeches
Lillibrooke Manor’s Great Barn was transformed into a stunningly magical scene for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The atmosphere was one of excitement and joy as the fairy lights sparkled and illuminated the barn, with beautiful greenery adding to its charm. Guests were amazed at how breathtaking it all looked! The wedding speeches at the reception were definitely one of the highlights – everyone laughed along with stories of their shared memories and shed a tear or two through heartfelt messages for the happy couple. It was an emotional affair, but it also provided plenty of good laughs and lots of fun. All together, it made for a memorable night that nobody present would soon forget!
Lillibrooke Manor Wedding Party
Leanne and Ross’ Lillibrooke Manor wedding party was truly one to remember! The beautifully decorated barn provided the perfect setting for the newlyweds to share their first dance and their family and friends to celebrate. Their friends had no trouble keeping the dance floor alive with great music, laughs and lots of energy. The evening reached its peak when their friends scooped up Ross and Leanne’s feet, hoisted them off the ground, and threw them into the air. If you looked closely enough at their faces in that moment as they laughed at being thrown around by their closest friends; you would have seen just how much joy they felt enveloping them. All in all, it was a celebration that created lasting memories!
