I’ve recently had the pleasure of photographing Jess & Tom’s big day at Montague Farm in East Sussex. Their wedding was nothing short of stunning. It was an absolutely stunning bright, sunny day, full of love, fun, and laughter!
Outdoor Weddings at Montague Farm
The Wedding Ceremony
With the charming Pevensey Levels in the backdrop, their wedding ceremony was held on the large grass lawn that Montague Farm has to offer. Tom, looking dapper in his suit, waited anxiously for his bride to walk down the aisle and make their union official.
As Jess walked down the aisle in her beautiful white gown, surrounded by close friends and family, you could truly feel the emotions in the air.
As the newlyweds stepped out, their friends and family showered them with an abundance of biodegradable confetti, creating a wonderfully vibrant and joyful atmosphere. Guests cheered and laughed as Jess and Tom celebrated their union in style, adding a perfect end to an unforgettable day.
Capturing Special Memories with Family Photos at Montague Farm
Following their ceremony, filled with heartfelt moments, while guests were enjoying drinks and canapes, I found the perfect spot under the shade of a big tree for family photos. We also took advantage of the vast grounds and made use of gorgeous open fields for some stunning couple portraits.
Montague Farm Rustic and Romantic Barn Wedding Venue
Following drinks and canapes, the newlyweds and their guests moved to the Big Barn for their wedding reception. This beautiful venue was a sight to behold. The reception space decor had lovely vintage touches that created an intimate atmosphere. The tables were filled with elegant and delicate floral arrangements, bringing colour and beauty to the rustic barn.
The statement draping against a dark wood backdrop and the soft florals set the tone for this romantic wedding reception. There were touching speeches from family and friends about Jess and Tom’s journey together and wishes for their future ahead. Everyone celebrated into the night with plenty of music, laughter, and dancing until late in the evening as they shared in this special event.
Magical Couple Portraits at Sunset
Sunsets are my favorite time of day to shoot couple portraits. The soft light of the setting sun adds a dream-like quality to any portrait and creates a perfect atmosphere for intimate moments between two people in love. The natural elements create an unforgettable backdrop that I am always in awe of when I have the opportunity to capture these magical photographs.
