Elise and Alfie chose to have a beautiful Humanist wedding at Brook Farm Cuffley, and I was so honored to be their photographer. Every moment of this special day was filled with love, laughter, and emotion. Here are just a few of my favorite highlights from their day:
The Wedding Ceremony
Elise and Alfie’s beautiful outdoor wedding at Brook Farm Cuffley was a truly magical occasion. Elise’s entrance down the aisle was an incredibly touching moment for all present. As she walked with both her parents, Alfie could hardly contain his joy and emotion at seeing his soon-to-be bride escorted by her loving parents.
His face filled with happiness and excitement as Elise walked gracefully towards him, in a beautiful white dress. As they embraced, Alfie welcomed her warmly and his eyes reflected the depth of emotion felt between them in that moment – a real testament to the power of true love.
Joy and Warmth with Outdoor Wedding Vows
Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the happy couple exchanged heartfelt vows in a beautiful ceremony that was deeply meaningful to them both. In the full embrace of their beliefs, they crafted each aspect of the day with love, creating an atmosphere that was full of joy and warmth.
A Memorable Confetti Shower
After the ceremony, I gathered the whole wedding party on a lovely green island in the middle of the lake at Brook Farm Cuffley and guided them to create two long lines of people (most probably the longest confetti lines I’ve ever seen) with rose petals and confetti filling the air around them.
Elise and Alfie walked out into a shower of confetti, hand-in-hand as a married couple, surrounded by their cheering loved ones. It was truly a moment to remember.
Timeless Wedding Family Portraits At Brook Farm Cuffley
Drinks and canapes were served to the guests under the shade of a big tree on the island. As they mingled and enjoyed each other’s company, I took the opportunity to take some beautiful, fun group photos with family and friends.
It’s such a beautiful sight to see families and friends come together, caught up in the moment and sharing memories that will be treasured for years to come. The tall trees provided a lovely backdrop along with its lush green foliage and added an extra touch of beauty to these amazing photos.

The wedding reception was filled with laughter and joy! Guests laughed and mingled over drinks outside, while the more competitive ones engaged in epic space hopper races. Soon after everyone was invited to sit down for the wedding breakfast in the beautifully decorated marquee at Brook Farm Cuffley.
The Wedding Speeches
The wedding speeches at Elise and Alfie’s big day were full of both humor and emotion. Each speaker had their own unique way of conveying the love they have for the couple, making sure everyone was on their feet in laughter or shedding a tear with them. From hilarious stories about the happy couple to heartfelt messages, there was something there for everyone that touched people’s hearts. It truly was a magical moment, one that was full of life and joy.
The Cake Cutting
Elise and Alfie’s cake-cutting ceremony was an extra special occasion – the beautiful views of the pond as the sun was slowly setting made it even more romantic. The crowd cheered and clapped as they shared their first slice, marking the start of their life together as husband and wife.
The First Dance
After a bit of suspense, they surprised everyone with an intricate and well-rehearsed dancing routine that took their guests’ breaths away. As they spun around the floor in perfect synchronization, their friends and family cheered and clapped along, celebrating their beautiful love and the start of their new lives together.
